Winter Woollys 2026

Winter Woollys 2026

Winter Is Here. So Are We.

As the Eastern Cape settles into its coldest months, many in our community are facing the season without enough warm clothing or blankets to get through the night. For the elderly, for young children, and for families living in under-resourced areas, winter is not just uncomfortable. It can be dangerous.

That is why, every year, Community Chest of the Eastern Cape runs the Winter Woolly Drive. And in 2026, we are going bigger, louder, and further than ever before.

Powered by Kelston Motor Group

This year's campaign is proudly powered by Kelston Motor Group, whose support makes it possible for Community Chest to mobilise collection points, raise awareness, and ultimately get donated items into the hands of those who need them most.

Alongside Kelston, a dedicated network of sponsors and partners have rallied behind the campaign, including Cadar Printers, Express, UDExpress, IPL, Baywest, DG Capital, DecorWorld, Bridge, SIM, and Jack's. Their collective commitment to the Eastern Cape community is what gives this campaign its reach and its impact.

  • Blankets and duvets

  • Jerseys and hoodies

  • Scarves, beanies, and gloves
